Machine pieced, appliquéd and quilted, 55x42. Collaboration with Maui quilt artist, Joan Davis. The pattern for this quilt was designed by Joan, then we cut it into four pieces: two for her and two for me. We worked on our pieces independently with a color palette of fabrics upon which we both agreed, and the background and border fabrics were hand dyed by Joan. This was something we wanted to try for a long time and we are both extremely pleased with the results! Joan pieced the border and I machine quilted the quilt.
