Original design for the Kona Coffee Cultural Festival 2006 Quilt Contest, where I wanted to portray the scent of coffee on the southerly Kona winds surrounding Kilauea and the Kona coast.  Machine pieced, machine and hand appliqued, machine quilted, 40"x40".  Features commercial, hand dyed and hand painted fabrics, hand embellished with hundreds of glass seed  beads.
